Dear readers,
I'm feeling emotional as I'm making my coming back on this blog, this long period of silence has been filled with both personal and professional challenges… The world has changed, we live wearing masks and right behind our screens , but no matter what we must continue to write history.
Today I want to address a topic that has always been close to my heart,I'm talking about education. Yes, this cause matters a lot to me and in my opinion it's THE solution to so many issues in our societies.
The key to empowerment.
So many children around the world are deprived of this chance, sometimes for political, social, economic or even cultural reasons, they become weaponless in this world.
For a long time I felt so sad about this situation, feeling so helpless, useless… Really who am I to pretend changing things? It's true I can barely manage my family life and my business, so how could I, without title or fortune or even notoriety, how could I attack this giant, this threat to the youth? I already have too much to deal with under my own roof ... So these are the kind of depressing thoughts that have been in my head over the past few months, losing all my creativity, and so much more.
Anyway, as you can guess, I got a grip on myself and got back on my feet! How did I do it? I'm not sure, but let's say I started looking a little beyond my navel and I just questioned myself, yes I can't change the world but who could stop me if I change my world ? There is no way I can live with regrets so I decide to do what I can at my level, and life will take care of the rest! The minute I accepted reality, I felt like a powerful wave wash over me, the inspiration that I have missed so much for the past few months was back and there… EUREKA !!!
Like many places, Congo my country experienced a lot of complications during the pandemic period, public schools could not provide lessons, the children have wasted all this time stayong at home, in this frame I decided to react and make my contribution by creating a library for children and teenagers which would be completely free and within various funny things and cultural activities will take place with the aim of fighting against dropping out of school, contributing to the literacy training for the youngest, and above all providing the opportunity for some to discover the world of reading.
I am therefore officially starting a campaign of support for the realization of this project, I collect books and school supplies of all types, if you wish to participate to this adventure, I will be delighted, do not hesitate to contact me then.
This little library will be the symbol of my commitment to the youth of my country, let's be real the future is them!
